Currie was proud to host 144 of the world's best female golfers playing in the Great Lakes Bay Invitational LPGA event last week! The Dow GLBI is played with 72 two-woman teams competing in a 72-hole stroke play format with alternating rounds of foursomes (alternate shot) and four-ball (best ball) for a purse of $2.7 million.
Although competition was held at Midland Country Club, Currie was honored to offer our driving range for all players to warm up. We were so excited to be visited by some of the biggest names in golf - Paula Creamer, Lexi Thompson, and Brooke Henderson, to name a few!
In addition to this, we also held a First Tee Junior Clinic Session on July 17th associated with the tournament.
